Lots of stimulus work with three more pushed into action! Get those jobs creatin! There is actually lots going on with the state with furloughs and cut backs. We are moving and people are losing their jobs…crazy times!
At least all of this hub-bub made the day go by quickly. I got a brief break for lunch and some blog reading.
Roll-Up wrap (I am starting to like like these better than flat out wraps, less rubbery texture) with hard boiled egg, red pepper hummus and spinach. One very large carrot, mango, blueberries and dark Adora disk.

Afternoon snacks included a baby CT plum, blueberry oat round, and black bean brownie…all not pictured.

Today was speed work and I really wasn’t feeling outdoor running…it was humid and I was feeling like my legs needs a little less stressful surface.
I did 4 miles of speed work: 5min warm-up at 6mph then alternated 1min sprints at 9mph, 2min at 6mph. 36min total.
Then I did leg strength, arms and core.

Sooo what was I craving? Turkey dogs and pickles…yeah I don’t know. I am blaming it on cleaning out the fridge.
So here is what came of the two.
Bed of spinach with 2 slices turkey dogs, slices pickle, mustard relish, and mixed peppers. I also had a piece of WW toast with some more amazing light Gouda TJs cheese!
Now I am currently watching last weeks Project Runway and getting into bed. It will be interesting to see how Lifetime takes the show. Man Heidi is gorgie!!! And I love her family.
DOES ANYONE WATCH PROJECT RUNWAY?? I feel like I have been watching a lot of TV but it is really only 3 shows…they are my favorites though!

Those are things that can be changed! I am currently watching House Hunters and this is why people don’t want to buy a house. A can of paint could change their mind, but not one seems to ever want to think outside the box! I currently cannot afford a home so I guess it is easier for me to judge.
I had quiet the crunchy lunch of fresh veggies! I had some carrots, wax and green beans with the last of my Sabra spicey hummus. I also had a WW wrap with a garlic and herb LC wedge, zuc and more beans! I also had a strawberry chobani, which I read has beet juice to maintain the red color naturally! Along with some cherries, blueberries and the other half of my white nectarine.

Crunch!

The afternoon was slow until my webcast at 2pm where I got some instruction from the Man concerning the dreaded stimulus…lets just say there is a lot of work coming my way.

Oh I feel so important! Not really the documents are posted on the web for all to see! To check out your state go to recovery.gov
Personal Workout at the gym this afternoon:
- 1:02:36 – 30min treadmill hill, 30min stepmill speed intervals
- 554cal
- Max HR – 182
- Average HR – 157
I was glad to see I was still getting a good workout on my own with pushing myself instead of relying on a teacher. I am always worried that I am taking the easy way when I can set my own pace.
After a nice shower and window opening…the weather was amazing here today! 82 and no humidity!!!!! I really wanted to play hookie…I picked my first organic, heirloom, pear yellow tomatoes!

I had to use them in dinner, raw! I was super hungry and I had two turkey dogs calling my name! I cooked up some lentils to add to my dogs for a simple delicious added protein. I also added HOT DOG Relish and ketchup. The salad was simple, oak leaf lettuce, cuc, MY PEAR TOMATOES, and feta.

I love lentils!!!! They add so much flavors and these buns are not too shabby either!
My sweet treat tonight was a VitaMuffin Chocolate Top. I had forgotten about these guys until I reached into the fridge for yet another black bean brownie and there they were calling to me! I put a little raw almond butter on top just for fun.

I need to kick this sweet after dinner routine I had fallen into, I never used to eat dessert, but I used to eat larger dinners too. I always keep them under 200cal so all in all not too bad of a habit. I do have to give a shout out to the VitaMuffin they are amazingly chocolatie and delicious! Not sure what the “fake” content in them is, but I don’t really want to know. All about balance!
Off to read Julie & Julia that madre sent!
Snack Attack!

I did some laundry and just relaxed, which lead to lots of snack time. When I have no plan I tend to snack a lot and watch movies on demand because I am bored. I honestly like having a to do list. An oat bar, 4 (eeekkk) black bean brownie bites – these little guys are gowning on me, plain chobani with carbo chip and cherries.

Nick and I went and saw 3 apts in the same building. I liked the location to Mt. Washington. Really close to “downtown”. The draw back were the size of the kitchens, no dishwashers, no AC, baseboard heat and coin laundry.
We did spot another apt on the same street. It is a bit more pricey but if we get another roommate we could afford it and heat and cooking gas are included! Everything seems cheap here compared to Boston!
I was super beat so I just grilled some turkey dogs and made an open face “hot dog” on two pieces of flax quinoa bread with ketchup and HOT DOG RELISH (I may have added a bit too much of it this time). I also made up a mondo salad to make up for the sweet snacking during the day – red leaf organic farmers market lettuce, carrots, cuc, summer squash, peppers with white balsamic and mustard dressing.

Nick was also kind enough to give me a sliver of his lemon bar that I got for him at Whole Foods yesterday. I heated up some TJs Maine Blueberry syrup and topped it with MD cherries.

This was a nice sweet treat end to the day…I am super sleepy.
Watching Wall-E and hittin the hay!

Can’t figure out how I put them together? I made an avocado, humus, polenta, cheese stack (melty and warm in the micro), plain chobani, one slice of leftover shrimp and spinach pizza, and some melon slices. The melon was not my favorite. Nick even thought he was supposed to eat the skin, oh my little 5 year old
