Good Morning Everyone! Welcome to Friday! It is purple Friday around these parts for the Ravens, but I am already dressed and don’t plan on switching. I will have to remember next week. CAW!
I can’t believe I am getting a cat tomorrow! I am so excited the day is almost here!
Chilly morning make me want oats, and I don’t really have anything else
It was the end of my favorite almond butter flavor
Out of the three I got in a sample pack, I think this would be the only one I would buy again. So delicious!
I had sort of a brown theme today in my bowl.
1/2 cup oats + oat bran mix, 1/2 cup h20, 1/2 cup skim, 1 banana, big sprinkle of cinnamon, handful Nature’s Path flax flakes, last of the Naturally Nutty vanilla almond butter (tear).
It all mixed very well together!
So this Samurai sword case in Baltimore is kind of crazy! He might face charges for cutting of the guys hand, but the man was a known felon (29 actually). It just confuses me why someone would have a samurai sword at school? I know that neighborhood is not safe, but still!
Ugh state budget goes to the hearing at the Department of Budget Management today…more budget cuts?!?!?!
Got to jet! 8 hours of work to the weekend baby!

A wee bit earlier to rise this morning…I am giving myself a bit more time to get to work because I am not exactly sure where I am going and I have to drive through some not so nice parts of Baltimore. Nick was up with me because he has started a lifting program in the gym, so at least I didn’t wake him up.
Breakfast was the good old oats and oat bran mix.
1/4 cup oat bran and 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 h20, 1/2 cup milk, handful Uncle Sam, 1 spoon of Naturally Nutty vanilla almond butter, 1/2 a peach.
Today is going to be super busy, but at least I will be out of here Wednesday night! I hope the weather shapes up…it is not looking like good beach weather
What do you do when rain comes with your vacation???
Later Gators!

“Whoooaa we’re half way there…whoooaaaaa! Living on a prayer!”
Welcome Wednesday!
We are currently dealing with the leftovers of Claudette and have 99% humidity at 7AM!??! wooza! Bill is coming towards us too. Huge rip currents on the shore this weekend. I am sure the surfers will be out in full force. All of this rain is not good for my weekend plans!
In other news…Really MJ is still in the news? AND a cat that can play the piano? I guess they need to have the light hearted story to break up all of the fighting in the Middle East.
Anywho…while absorbing all of this valuable news I spooned this creamy bowl.
I swear there are oat below that white peach!

I mixed a 1/4 cup oat bran, 1/4 Old Wessex all natural oats, 1/2 naner mashed in, 1 tbs flax, 1 cup h20, 1 white peach, spoon of Naturally Nutty white chocolate cherry almond butter.
This was a new oats brand for me, and I really couldn’t tell the difference from my other organic oats. I guess it will be based on lowest price from here on out!
Time to get in gear!
Check ya later!
Do you like crazy weather? This hurricane is exciting to me! I remember Isabelle from college being so much fun?? Is that weird?
Making Your Own Sunshine August 6, 2009

I woke up this morning to grey sky and rain. We really need it around here so it wasn’t that big of a blow, but it always seems that much harder to get out of bed when it is raining. At least it made the breakfast choice easy! Warm and oatty!
I decided to make my own sunshine this morning in my oat bran.
Can you tell what it was? My peach sat atop 1/2 cup oat bran with 1/2 naner mashed in 2 tbs Nature’s Path pumpkin granola, 1 tbs flax and a tbs of Naturally Nutty vanilla almond butter mountain (for the sun to rise over!). The peach was amazing burst in your mouth goodness, kind of like when the sun rays touch your sun-blocked skin
and you start to absorb the warmth.
How do you make sun on rainy days?
I finally get to see Nick tonight! Everything is coming together for our apt!!! And we are going on vacation and moving my office, yikes! The next month could be really crazy, but fun. And what is life without fun?
Ok off to finish my oat bran and watch Access Hollywood uh I mean the News.
Last push to the weekend!
